School Seminar
Maryland is considering a bill
called The Parental Choice Scholarship Program which enables parents in
low-income families to choose which public or participating private school
their children will attend with a scholarship from the State Department of
Education. The amount of the scholarship can be as much as $3,000 and
depends upon the income of the family. Requirements for private
schools to participate are minimal and do not impose an interference of the
state in the operation of the Christian school. This bill would be a
great help towards providing a way for churches to participate in meeting
the educational needs of children.
Starting a Christian school is
not difficult. There are many guidelines and supporting organizations
to assist you in setting up your school program. Research supports the
concept of small schools and at our seminars you will learn how to establish
